About Serenity Rehab Center
Serenity Foundation is a non-profit organisation with a mission to help the lost or the less fortunate find their way back to a good life. With this initiative in mind, we are started our very first rehab centre in Surat called Serenity Rehab Centre.
At our centre, we admit upto 40 candidates at our live-in rehabilitation centre providing all the care and one-on-one guidance they need to realise the problem and revive back to sobriety, back to a good life from any kind of Substance abuse or alcoholism.
We believe that substance abuse not only is medically hazardous to the user, but it also socially affects the user and everyone around them. Be it their family, friends or colleagues. Lately, doctors recognise addiction as a form of chronic disease which is treatable and preventable just like asthma or hypertension with a continuum of care and therapy to build positivity and find a balance of mind.
How We Work
At Serenity rehab centre, we have created an environment of serenity helping our patient to recognise the problem and build the right attitude to find determination of never going back with the help of our special designed program which offers One-on-One counselling along with activities like yoga, improv, meditation, art and music arranged on daily basis by our staff who are active, supportive and empathetic towards all patients.
Besides these, we plan various activities to help our patients bury their past with realisation and acceptance to look forward and find a vision where they can lead a happy, content substance-free life and be there for their loved ones.
As we are aware of the high financial and human costs that comes with the disease of substance abuse, we intend to offer our services to anyone at minimum costs compared to other institutes around.
In addition to this, we are currently building a home full of love & humanity in Umedhgadh (Idar district) called Aashray for those seniors who have either lost their homes or have no-one to take care of them anymore.
Location
Our centre for recovery is situated away from the hustle bustle of the city in Surat close to the Dumas beach which enables the patient to enjoy the sunrise to begin their recovery journey on a positive note on daily basis. Our place allows our patients to pursue activities like gardening, yoga, meditation, sports etc. in outdoors to establish good health and positive thinking. We believe in providing a nurturing environment to all patients to overcome their addiction with full responsibility.
